Duties and Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with our clients to design and develop online applications based on their specifications with comprehensive tests and documentation, focusing on security and maintainability
- Develop and test new web applications that are flexible enough to be modified by changing the algorithms as well as creating visually appealing sites that feature user-friendly design and clear navigation
- Coordinate and provide justifications for recommended work that aligns with Alvestone’s vision of providing reliable online application that maintain the customer’s privacy as a priority
- Identify and understand the customer needs
- Be aware and apply security principals in practice
- Resolve the issues based on their priorities
- Review and communicate with managers and follow up with them to ensure that work is being performed efficiently
- Build and maintain strong working relationships by providing technical support to client’s team
- Add new webpages on our website based on our needs with particular attention to user interface
- Document the activities on a regular basis
Requirements
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in computer engineering from a recognized program
- 4+ years of experience in designing and developing web applications
- Having an additional degree in technology management is preferable
Technical Competencies:
- Hands-on experience in Angular Framework
- Expert in developing responsive web applications with HTML, CSS, PHP, JavaScript, SASS, and Bootstrap
- Hands-on experience using REST based APIs from Angular services
- Experience with testing tools and frameworks like Jasmine
- Worked with Version Control such as Git
- Familiar with agile programming methodologies
- Deep functional knowledge in C++ or Java
- Technical knowledge of data processing
- Strong quantitative skills
- Experience in planning and delivering software platforms used across multiple products and organizational units
- Understanding of data processing and numerical analysis
Soft Skills:
- Self-motivated
- Demonstrated presentation, written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to analyze, determine course of action and lead change
- Demonstrated ability to conduct elementary research
- Demonstrated ability to analyze information and make sound judgments
